EPiC – AquaFloor Two Pack

High Strength, High Gloss, Clear Two Pack Water Based Polyurethane

Nutech AquaFloor is a High Strength Two Pack Floor Coating which provides excellent protection for Concrete, Timber, Masonry and Primed Metal surfaces with proven durability and performance. The coating provides excellent hardness and scuff resistance, designed for a wide variety of applications including commercial and industrial floors and walls.

Nutech AquaFloor provides excellent protection against a range of corrosives including:

Application & Features

Nutech AquaFloor is used for a wide variety of applications where traditional floor paints, paving paint, epoxy coatings and furniture finishes are used. It has excellent interior and exterior durability, with high resistance to solvents, corrosion and abrasion after full curing is achieved.

AquaFloor is highly petrol resistant and suitable for petrol stations and vehicle repair workshops. It is recommended for areas that require a hard wearing 2PK coating, without the strong solvent odours of most epoxy and polyurethane coatings during application. Designed as a 2 coat system, AquaFloor provides excellent protection against fading, powdering of oxide colours, staining or marking due to contaminants, oil or grease.

Equipment Type

Good quality brush and roller sleeve. Spray application will depend on the type of finish required.

DO NOT store mixed product in spray equipment to avoid damage.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces must be free from Rust, Oil, Grease, and all other surface contamination. New concrete must have a pH level less than 10 and had at least 28 days to cure. New and old Concrete should be Acid Etched using 1 Part Hydrochloric Acid or Nu EcoSafe Concrete Etch to 10 Parts Water. High Pressure Water Blast area (> 2000 Psi) and allow to completely dry. Painted concrete in poor condition should be stripped using our Nu Ecosafe range of paint strippers and acid etched before application.

Mixing Ratio

4 Part A to 1 Part B

After drill mixing leave to Stand for 10 minutes before using to allow full activation.

Stirring with a stick by hand is inadequate.

Pot Life

2 hours

DO NOT use after Pot Life has expired.

10% - 15% with clean water

Bare concrete and masonry surfaces thin 20% - 25% for first coat application for penetration and adhesion.

Dilute with clean water.

2-3 Coats or a minimum of 150 microns wet film thickness.

Dry and Re-Coat Times

Touch Dry

6 - 8 hours @ 25° C


After 8 hours but within 24 hours. If recoated after 7 days, the surface must be abraded.

8-10 m2 per litre depending on surface porousity.

Other Information

Surface Temperatures

Above 10°C and below 30°C

Very cold temperatures may retard the drying and curing times. Heating the room will accelerate drying and curing after application.

Safety Precautions

  • Wear Suitable Protective Coating
  • Wear a suitable respirator for Spray application.
  • Ensure there is good air flow and ventilation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Slip Hazard

Sealing of smooth and sloping concrete surfaces will reduce pedestrian and vehicle safety. For greater slip reduction an Anti-Slip Additive can be mixed into the product and rolled out as a final coat. Testing is recommended before proceeding to ensure that a potential slip hazard is avoided. Refer to your Nutech specialist for alternative recommendations on steep, smooth surfaces.
